Q. What if there isn't enough to share?

Jean Marie - Press Conference - Question #1

A. Whatever people took, they shared. One of the Dene laws is: you share what you have, no matter how little it is. You share it anyway. In the olden days it was believed that if I was fortunate to get a moose, and I didn't share it, that would change my luck.

Eventually you get caught if you're not giving. What if you took a moose and didn't share any at all, how would I feel the next time I take a moose? Would I feel like sharing with you? So it affects the whole community when some members don't share.
