way to get through and that was with Gasolene Gus on his speeder.

Sureness was not because of the unlikelihood of jumping off the track, but because the speeder was easier than a train to get on again.

There were really two speeders – the one shown in the picture and an old Marmon Automobile with Railway wheels instead of tires.

On one occasion we chased a moose for two or three miles and how we ever stayed on the track, I have never been able to figure out.
