eddy, near us, cleared. We decided to put a net in the water. Captain Mills – with his previous experience, said he would do it, and, naturally, we all turned out to see him set it. That evening talk ran on the number of fish the Captain would get when he pulled it in next morning and he was very optimistic. When morning came we all went to the Eddy. Everyone was excited, most of all, Captain Mills who love to be in the limelight.

At last everything was ready and he hauled in his net.

You can imagine what happened when he found his total catch – one rabbit.

Needless to say he blamed me.
