As a matter of fact, the Squaws were disgusted with her for smoking a Cigarette in a long holder. Nothing suited them but the pipe. Half way between Good Hope and Arctic Red River, our next stop, we passed Chicago, not the thriving metropolis in the U.S.A, but a Fur Trading Outpost of the Hudson's Bay Company.
