a small boat right on top of the high limestone cliffs which form the shore line. Anyway, through this narrow channel, the river races along,but there is no danger as there is a great depth of water.

This picture was actually taken at midnight and shows the sun setting and rising from the same point.

The period of endless daylight is approximately 6 weeks and there is a compensating period of darkness during the Winter. Naturally, with so much sunshine
