Albert Faille
Albert Faille, trapper and prospector based out of Fort Simpson, spent many years travelling up the south Nahanni River to seek out the gold sites previously rumoured to be discovered by the McLeods. Faille continued to seek the gold well into his old age, and it is his tenacity that turned him into a legendary figure featured in the NFB film Nahanni.
