Inuvialuit elders, who are the keepers
of their history, have shared their knowledge of Kuukpak and the
Kuukpangmiut with archaeologists.
Concerned that Kuukpak might one day be lost to erosion, the elders
invited archaeologists to study the village remains, so that information
gathered from archaeology can be added to their stories.
